 Great little speakers, if you need good, cheap, sound July 13, 2008

I don't play PC games any more, and I watch (most) movies on my nice television. So, what I really wanted from these little speakers was to be able to listen to iTunes every once in a while, and watch assorted videos online (YouTube, Video.Google, and even Netflix every once in a while).
These speakers are perfect for exactly that.
The small size means that they don't take up too much real-estate on my desk (about 3.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep), but they're nice enough that I can enjoy listening to music or videos.
And, with USB, that means not having to worry about a lot of cords.
Overall, I've been very happy with this purchase.

Much better sound quality for the price point than any other bus-powered speakers I have found. It's great not to have plug these into the wall, and they sound terrific!

After using my monitor speakers for a while, the minute I plugged these little guys in I heard a noticeable difference right away! The sound was much richer, very clear, and brought life to my playlist on iTunes. There aren't a lot of wires to fuss over and the speakers automatically turn and shut off with your computer. They are small and compact and fit in nicely with my HP desktop. All in all, they are a great bang for the buck. I am planning to buy another set for my sister.

I bought these speakers bacause my old powered speakers made horrible noise with my cell phone anywhere nearby. These speakers have just a tiny bit of interference from my phone, even when the phone is very close to them. The sound is good for normal listening. I do not play them loud, so can not comment about that.

The speakers are great since they have USB connection. It helps a lot not having to have electrical plug as well, reducing the amounts of cords around my computer!
